Join us for this Signature presentation and be inspired by trailblazing para-athlete, Marissa Papaconstantinou's incredible journey as she shares how just a tenth of a second can be the difference between 8th place and a gold medal. Through her story, you’ll discover the power of resilience, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence in "Finding Tenths."

About Marissa Papaconstantinou

Marissa competed in her first Para World Championships at just 16 years of age, qualifying for the finals in both the 100m and 200m. At 25, she has competed in three Paralympic Games in Rio, Tokyo and Paris. In her second appearance at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Marissa broke her own Canadian record before going on to win a bronze medal in the T64 100 metres event. She is also a two-time World Championship Medalist in the 100 metres and 200 metres.

The first female para-athlete to be signed by Nike Canada, Marissa has also been featured in campaigns by Air Canada, Secret deodorant, Toyota, Google, and Petro Canada.
